The connection between past, present, and future has fascinated researchers and famous personages from a variety of backgrounds. The basis for any scientific, economic and social progress is formed by the ability to learn from the wisdom and experience of previous generations and to glean facts and sensational revelations from history while applying to them the wisdom of the present.

The Wisest of Men offers an interpretation of the book of Ecclesiastes, which according to tradition was written by King Solomon, who is known as the wisest of all men. In the book of Ecclesiastes, King Solomon summarized a bundle of practical advice for a better life in a variety of areas: economics, psychology, society, law, and more. Each year, observant Jews read the book of Ecclesiastes on the Festival of Tabernacles. Personally, I thoroughly enjoy reading the book each year anew and receiving advice and ideas that help me in my daily life.

The basic reality of our lives is always similar. Everyone has a family, friends and work. That is the normal human environment with which one must deal on a daily basis and in which one must know how to handle any conflicts that may arise. All mankind must deal with similar personal issues. The way of dealing with them has not really changed much in hundreds of thousands of years.

This book attempts to help interpret the rich and ancient Hebrew language of the Talmud by giving it a modern colloquial dialect, perhaps even with a high-tech twist. The book includes examples from the business world that can provide every reader with powerful tools and sage advice, both for dealing with everyday situations and for planning and forming a way of living, whether in an executive-led organization or in the successful management of life.

This book will help readers to put their better foot forward. As the renowned physician, Sir Isaac Newton said, “If I succeeded in seeing a little farther, it is because I stood on the shoulders of giants.” The advice of King Solomon, the wisest of all men, consists of rare and precious snippets of wisdom that transcend the dynamics of time. Everyone has a right to benefit from them and from the fruits of his labor (with a little help from the author of this book).
